How Do the Animal Bailee and Veterinary Expense Reimbursement Work?
Your policy comes with two coverages that protect you in case of a wide range of accidents involving pets:
- Veterinary Expense Reimbursement: Can cover up to $1,000 per incident (after a $250 deductible) if a pet gets sick or hurt while in your care and needs a vet right away. In an emergency, it helps you focus on the pet, not the bill.
- Animal Bailee Coverage: Can cover up to $2,500 per incident if a pet gets injured, sick, lost, or even dies while in your care. Not only can it apply to vet bills, but it can also help pay legal defense costs if a claim turns into a lawsuit.
Need more protection? You can increase your limits for either coverage at checkout, so your coverage grows with your business.
